Hi there,
Thousands of people move through RAC Arena every week, often passing by strangers without knowing the stories they carry.
Passing By Project is a public art exhibition featuring original works from 16 emerging Western Australian artists aged 14 to 24, many of whom have engaged with youth support services through The Salvation Army or The Y HQ.
Presented by RAC Arena, curated by SAVA ART and supporting The Salvation Army WA, the exhibition has a deliberate double meaning. You physically pass by the artworks, and the artworks also reflect the people in our community who are too often “passed by”.
Next time you’re at the Arena, pause, reflect and take a moment to really see.
